Acer launches new notebook series

Acer, the third largest PC manufacturer after Dell and HP, has launched a new series of notebooks with the name of Aspire Timeline series in India. The new range of products is based on an Ultra-Low Voltage (ULV) Intel Core 2 solo processor that enables thinner design with longer battery life.

The Acer Timeline series are Aspire 3810 T, Aspire 4810 T and Aspire 5810 T. The notebooks are equipped with thermal management system which helps the system to be cool irrespective of its 0.8 inch size and 1 lb (about 2 kg) weight.

The Aspire Timeline series is available in three forms 13.3", 14" and 15.6" with better readability in low-light condition, and is equipped with Dolby Sound Room that produces a quality surround sound.

One another key features of the Timeline models are its battery backup and energy saving capacity. It has over eight hours of battery life. The power smart adapter enters the adaptive charging mode automatically when the battery is fully charged and stops consuming energy.

The price of the Aspire series ranges from Rs 39,999 to Rs 44,999.
